Who is TakeOut Xpress?
TakeOut Xpress was established with the goal of bringing your favorite local restaurants to your home, office, dorm or hotel room. We have dedicated ourselves to providing our customers with professional and efficient service. Our customre srevice and corporate client service staff specializes in coordinating everything from a small dinner at home to business luncheons or large social gatherings. How does CNYTakeOutXpress.com work?
Once you have set up an account with us, you can browse a list of restaurants in your area for which we offer Delivery or Take-Out services. Ordering is easy - just decide which restaurants you would like to order from, use interactive ordering system and pick it up yourself or have it delivered.
Why is an account necessary?
For us to better serve you, we felt that the ability for a customer to easily save information was a valuable feature. Having an account allows you to save information that will both speed up the ordering process as well as customize your settings.
What do you do with my information?
Your information is used only to improve your experience with us. It is not shared with any outside entities. We NEVER save credit card info for security purposes, just your personal info to help expedite your next order.
Can I change my information after I register for an account?
Once you register, to change your information, login with your email address and password, and click on "My Account". You can change your password, address, receipt preferences, and email preferences.
What if I forget my password?
Email customerservice@CNYTakeOutXpress.com with your email address, and we email your password.
What if I want to set up an account for my company?
A corporate account is perfect for you! A corporate account is set up for an organization with one or more administrators. The administrator has the ability to associate individuals with the account, control the individuals access to certain features of the service, arrange catering for company events, or even invite individuals attending an event to order specific items for an event. How do I change corporate account information?
Only certain users will be allowed to make changes to the account. You can designate these individuals as "Administrators". They will then have access and control of the entire CNYTakeOutXpress.com system for your organization. Changes can be made to the account within Corporate View of "My Account".
Placing an Order:
Is there a charge for your service?
Yes, We have a $5.99 delivery fee. There may be an additonal fee for out of zone deliveries.
Is there a minimum to order?
The minimum for Delivery is $15.00.
How long will it take for my order to be processed?
Depending on your Zone, Delivery Orders will usually be delivered between 45 and 75 minutes. Delivery times may be longer during peak periods.
What is a "Zone"?
A Zone is a way to help us define an estimate for your delivery time and delivery charge. Your Zone is dependent upon the restaurant from which you are ordering. The closer you are to the restaurant, the shorter the delivery time, and the less the delivery charge.
Can I place an order for later today or later in the week?
At the start of your order you have the opportunity to set the delivery for a later time and day.
Can I order from multiple restaurants in the same order?
Absolutely you can, however there will still be a minimum order of $15.00 per restaurant and a additional delivery fee for each additional restaurant.
What if I have a special request for my order?
As you select each item and add it to your order, you will have the ability to input any special instructions for that item on an "Item Options" page. These requests work as if you were ordering directly from the restaurant so if you want to hold the mayo, the special instructions section is your chance to do it.
Can I order beverages, as well as food?
We offer you a line of bottled beverages from Coke, including, Coke, Diet Coke, Barq’s Root Beer, Sprite, Sprite Zero, and Dasani Spring Water. Unless a beverage is a special menu item for a restaurant, such as a smoothie, we do not deliver restaurant beverages.
What types of credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover
What Is The "Convenience Fee"?
Because many customers choose to pay by credit card or by their own corporate charge account, the costs involved in non cash transactions are higher than for cash transactions. Rather than charge everyone a higher price, we reflect the convenience fee only on non-cash transactions and offer those customers that pay by cash a 4% discount or no convenience fee for cash transactions.
How do I redeem a promotional code?
Just before you confirm your order you will have a chance to enter the promotional code. If the code is still valid, it will apply to your order.
How do I redeem an e-certificate online?
Just before you confirm your order you will have a chance to enter the e-certificate code. If the certificate is valid, the certificate amount will be deducted from your order.
I lost an e-certificate someone sent me, how do I get a new one issued?
Contact one of our customer service representatives at (315) 454-4444. They will need to know the name of the person that sent you the e-certificate.
What do I do about gratuity for drivers?
You can add tip to the total cost of your Delivery Order when you check out. The gratuity goes directly to the driver, so please consider their efforts.
Oops, I added an item to my online order, and I don’t want it anymore.
If you have not yet confirmed your order, click the red "x" next to the item in your "Current Order" box.
If you have already confirmed the order, please call Customer Service immediately. To ensure you food is ready in a timely fashion, we transmit your order to the restaurant immediately after you confirm it. We cannot promise your order is not already being prepared.
